THIS IS NOT A GOOD LOOK.
I don't know where this surge of fannypacks is coming from, but in the last month I've seen four people with them. FOUR.
Convenient? Mildly. Attractive? Not in any sense of the word. I would rather date someone with a man purse than someone with a fannypack.
Women who wear fannypacks baffle me. Just use a purse. It can hold just as much (if not more) than a fannypack, they're (usually) cuter, and you won't get laughed or stared at. And men, I kind of understand your plight. I don't really like carrying a purse -- I like to be able to put all my things into my pants pockets (as previously discussed), but a fannypack is not the answer.
Ugh.

I saw fanny packs a lot when I was in Italy for a short time last summer. My friend who is in the fashion industry there didn't really know why so many people where wearing them. I was mortified.
Mine matched my skip-it, both hot pink. Sorry Kristen I was only cooler b/c I was older.
Lately I have seen a lot of designer (Gucci, Prada, etc) fanny packs...except they look a little cooler and are 500 dollars more. But there is no excuse for such a wretched addition to one's fashion statement...especially all of those sexy people in Duluth.
That David Hasselhoff video made me so nervous I had to shut it off after 49 seconds.
Told you I secretly read your blog. I can't help it, it's wonderful.

I remember my mother trying to make me bring a fanny pack to germany when i was there for a month. i think I brought it because she was putting on a fit, but promptly hid it from my hosts. if they ever caught me i would have been the laughing stock of the whole town.
